THE YOU ON THE INSIDE

The ''you'' on the inside. Yes we all have distinguished personality on the inside or we are different if we look inwardly. Who we see now or what people see us as is not really who we are. You can truly  generate power and strength from within. So don't let any body fool you that where you  right now,  or the person you are cannot get better. We just need to look within. Mohammed Ali the greatest boxer of all time (undisputed) had envisaged himself as the greatest even before he became one. He dreamt it, saw it, worked his ass to achieve it and keep on saying it. To this day one of his famous declaration and saying is  ''I am the greatest''
We really don't know who we are, the value of what we Carry or what we have until we look inside and let it out for the world to see. Some people will approach and appreciate you in an instance others will criticise you. Never mind you need all the attention, criticism and evaluation from supporters and critics as well because they are all you need to gain mastery. Raw gold is not appreciated until  it is refined.

To get true happiness and fulfilment we all need to look within because true happiness and fulfilment comes from within.
You have the power to be who you want to be, with no one stopping you. The only one who has the power to stop you is yourself.

VOICES FROM THE STREET

I can hear it. Sounds coming from afar, mutterings, murmuring, chattering. I can hear it but this time loud and clearer, I can hear it louder than ever. It is the voices from the street.

It is the voices of those who have seen and taste defeat and kept standing and striving.
Voices of those who have been silenced for so long under depression and oppression.

Voices of those abandoned and neglected by a system that only favours the rich, elites and those with affluence and connections.

It is the voices from the street and this time they say ''no More''. They are ready to take it up. They are ready to create the change they seek for, a land slide change with great ripple effect and magnitude.

The voices echoing out represent the voices of the majority of the Masses, who can't speak nor fight for themselves.
I can hear their voices echoing here and their gathering momentum and velocity from one geographical region to the other and through out time for the cry of the Masses must be heard and attended to for I see no boundary stopping them.

ARISE NIGERIANS

ARISE O COMPATRIOT'S

Arise o COMPATRIOT'S Nigeria's call we must all obey. A call to serve, develop and make Nigeria whole again. A call to exercise our civic rights and  responsibilities. The labour of our Heroes past  to achieve Democracy shall never and will never be in vain. Arise and create the change. The power that Democracy has given to the people is over whelming. We have the power to elect who we want. We all are living through history and about to create history as well. Such History  could be created in tone  with the way we want it to be and how it ought to be, if we but Vote wisely. Vote without sentiments of any kind. Arise and exercise your Franchise. As we go out to the polls, let our votes be void of political sentiments, Religious sentiments, Tribal sentiments. Let us go create the change we clamour for by electing leaders with credibility.

Nigeria in a state of Jeopardy

Yes, Nigeria is in a state of jeopardy.

Long enough have we suffered in fear and despair. Long enough has poverty, militancy, illiteracy and corruption become our other names. Before independence, we clamoured for a free Nigeria. We chanted "One Nigeria" and now we barely see that coming through. The one Nigeria our fallen heroes spoke of, fought for and gave their lives for has not been actualised. The colonial masters have come and gone and although we are not directly under their rulership and dictatorship, *but we ruling ourselves have turn rulership to dictatorship.*

How shall we continue like this: I am Yoruba, he is Igbo and they are Hausas? How has the ____ segregation, tribalism, nepotism, favoritism amongst us helped the country so far? Rather than build the country, it creates divisions and enlarges the gap between us.
We have enslaved ourselves under the guise of electing leaders who have made it a top priority to loot the treasury for their selfish interest and that of their coming generations.

*Great number* of able bodied men and women leaving the country for greener pastures and a high percentage of them succumb to illegal acts and means of making money. All of this is as a result of electing the wrong people due to peanuts dolled out during election periods, only to end up enslaving ourselves.

They promise us a free country where all will have equal opportunity to thrive, better economy, job opportunities, ____ power supply, good and sound education, security and many more – all these have become mirages and shadows that can't become reality because of some so-called cabals and godfathers who refuse to relinquish their hold on power.

Our greed has enslaved us and made our nation a source of ridicule and center of attraction for the wrong reasons. Looters are leaders while *the saints* and fit to rule are not given the opportunity to do so.

If the head is bad what do you expect to happen to the body?
The youths are complaing of no jobs but they are the root cause of it all. We all posses power – power to elect patriotic leaders, power to create positive changes we clamour for, power to elect leaders at different levels of the political stratas void of sentiments.

You will hear of youths clamouring to use violence, raise up arms to rid the country of this menace. But my question is "How will that help us?" Or what benefit is it to rid the country of thses people by spilling blood? We have our vocal powers, share the good will message to people to elect the right people irrespective of their tribe, clan or geopolitical zones as long as they have a track record of credibility and and have agendas that will benefit the masses.

When we elect right people, the three arms of government will function effectively without any form of bias and doubts and it will be a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Let's make it a good present day and a better tomorrow rather than the good old days as the saying goes. ''E go better" is the national outcry of the poor masses. Let's make Nigeria a country of all, a country where we have equal opportunities to thrive and succeed rather than seek greener pasture else where. Let's make Nigeria better than what it used to be.

Fellow youths, we can use our voice, *our power* and our mental prowess to stop these looters and those people who pose to be cancerous cankerworms to the very foundation and well-being of our beloved country rather than the use of arms and weapons.

We need leaders who will reform the judicial system, the executive and legislative arms of government. Passing bills and reform laws that will change the country and reverberate and revive the country from its dead and drunken state and help boost industrialisation for the local and up comming indeginous companies, improve standard of living, eradicate poverty, improve our educational system, help better the economy. Laws that will stop the Senate from being the retirement plan for governors, laws that will hinder double salaries *?and retirement pensions for civil service workers?*.

Together, we can to make Nigeria what it ought to be.
